Product information

Let's start with the product.

Tell us what it is and why it belongs on Sold On Air.

The single most important answer on this form. What does a demonstration show that a photo can't?
Shared folders, YouTube links, press kits — anything that shows the product working.

What we look for

Products that earn a closer look.

  • It demonstrates well — something visibly happens in the first ten seconds
  • It solves a real, recognizable problem, or does something genuinely different
  • Healthy economics: room for a fair margin or commission
  • U.S.-based inventory and fast, reliable delivery
  • A quality sample that matches the product we would sell
  • Capacity to restock if it sells
  • Good photos, specs and video you have the rights to share
  • Openness to an exclusive or a private-label version (a plus, never required)
What we don't feature

Hard lines, whatever the numbers.

  • Products that need a prescription, or that make medical, disease or clinical claims
  • Ingestible supplements sold on health claims
  • Weapons, ammunition, tobacco, vaping or cannabis products, and adult products
  • Claims we cannot verify against a source
  • Products that fail sample review, or have open safety recalls
  • Missing required certifications or insurance, or unresolved IP concerns
  • Fulfillment we cannot rely on
How it works

From application to on air.

Commercial review → sample & QA → claims → compliance → inventory → fulfillment → content → on air. Every step has to pass; none can be skipped.

  1. Apply

Tell us about the product, its economics and how it ships. About five minutes.

  2. Qualify & sample

We talk through the details, then test real samples — measured, photographed, used and filmed.

  3. Verify

Claims are approved against their sources, and compliance, inventory and fulfillment are confirmed.

  4. On air

A host demonstrates it on a show, and it is offered at a current, verified price.

Questions

Supplier FAQ.

Does it cost anything to apply?

No. Applying is free, and so is our review.

What happens after I apply?

Our team reviews every application. If yours is a fit, we contact you to talk through economics, inventory and fulfillment, and usually request samples. If it is not a fit right now, we tell you rather than leave you waiting.

Do you need samples?

Yes. We normally ask for about two samples, typically at the supplier’s expense, so we can measure, photograph, test and film the real product. What viewers see has to match what they receive.

Who ships the orders?

Early on we prefer supplier-direct fulfillment or your own 3PL, with clear delivery commitments. We agree the details before anything goes on air.

How will hosts talk about my product?

Only from your approved product record. Every feature and specification a host mentions is checked against a source first. Hosts never invent results, ratings or testimonials, and never claim personal experience with a product.

How do the economics work?

We agree them product by product — commission or revenue share, wholesale or drop-ship are all possible. We discuss what fits after the product is qualified, and nothing is assumed before then.

Where will my product be seen?

Our programs are made for soldonair.com first; we plan to publish short-form segments on the major video platforms as well. We will tell you exactly where a segment runs before it does.
